Behind the Scenes – Newborn Photography

Ever wondered how the photographer gets those shots of a newborn that is only a week or so old to hold those poses and positions, then watch this video as it goes behind the scenes of award winning Orange County photographer, Ana Brandt.
Safety of the child is paramount and with them only being a couple of weeks old they cannot support themselves, therefore they are supported and held in place. Images are then edited to remove additional hands and fingers that were used to help support them to create the final image.
As you can see from this image below, the child is supported in a number of ways from different sides, however the final photo is edited so these are not shown.
