Hi I am a newborn, baby child and family photographer specialist based in the UK in Essex Near lakeside shopping centre
I specialise in babies and children as I have worked with them for 25 years first as a babysitter, then childminder, creche worker and now photographer.
I have had 3 children off my own and now have 5 beautiful grand children. It was them that got me in to photography as they all did modelling and had to have regular model updates so I brought my first camera and went on a course how to use it properly. I found out I absolutely loved taking photographs and was soon approached by a lot of model mums to take pictures of their children.
I now realised I had found my passion and vocation. I went on so many course to see what I wanted to specialise in. I was trained by some of the best trainers in the country in newborn photography posing and safety. I went on lighting course, editing courses, outdoor photography courses, posing courses and even got trained by some of the best international photography child and baby trainers.
My work got better and better I was so proud of it I thought I would enter some of my clients images into competitions. I started off with The Guild of Photographers monthly image of the month competition and was thrilled to receive a bronze award for one of my first entries. I carried on entering each month and got more awards. To win an award puts my work at above average professional level and amongst some of the best in the country.
I decided to enter images in other photographic associations competitions. I entered 3 images into the Master photography association annual print competition. I got one of these images to the final. This competition draws entries from all around the world. At the presentation evening I was astounded to here my name called as runner up in my category and be presented with my award up on stage.
I had now got the bug and I entered some images in the annual print competition of the Society of wedding and portrait photographers. I actually went to the judging of the prints and was amazed to her that 2 of my images were in the final gaining a merit and an award of excellence.
I also entered The founders cup with the Guild of photographer last year where you have to submit a panel of 3 images that have a connecting theme. My panel made the final so I was off to another awards evening. My name was the very first name to be called out I was runner up and up on the stage again collecting my award. I also received the photographers bar award in newborn and baby photography which is awarded to photographers that consistently produce and enter award winning images throughout the year.
This year my awards have continued and improved receiving many silver awards with the Guild of photographers. I am a finalist in the Master photography association print competition again. I have gained the photographers bar this year in three genres with the Guild of Photographers- Newborn and babies, children portraits and pet portraits . I am looking forward to the awards evening early next year to be presented with my new awards
I could not be where I am now without my clients each and everyone of you are treated the same you start off a stranger and leave as friends. I provide a warm and friendly relaxed atmosphere in my purpose built home studio. All my award winning images are from clients sessions each time I am behind the camera I am striving to take a picture of your baby or child that is of an award winning standard.
I pride myself that my clients return again and again I have photographed babies from bump to newborn to sitter to first birthday to Christmas shoot to sibling shoot with next newborn to family shoot including the dog. It is so nice to see babies as they grow and as the family extends. I don’t advertise all my clients are from recommendations and word of mouth.
I have been trained in newborn and safety posing by Claire Elliott, Tracy Willis, Emma Jane , Safety workshops and seminars put on by several photographic societies. I am a member of Banpas . I still constantly update my training.
I have attended many child first aid courses and am trained in child and baby CPR.
Tracy so lovely! She welcomed us with open arms into her cosy studio. She was very patient and friendly and made me and the baby feel at ease. Very straight forward when picking packages and amazing props good if you are not sure on what themes to go for.

Can’t recommend Tracy enough! She has such a huge range of props to choose from and she was fantastic with our daughter when getting her into each pose and very patient when she was wriggling around. We’ve been to view the results today and it was impossible to choose a selection so we couldn’t resist purchasing the full package.
